World & Realms

Every realm mapped — where it's safe, where PvP is on, and how the portals connect.

Kintara is split into realms — separate maps connected by portal tiles at the edges. Your inventory, gold, skills, and friends travel with you. Here's what each realm is for and how dangerous it is.

Servers: there are two world instances, Server 1 and Server 2, picked at login. Your items and gold are shared between them, but players on different servers can't see each other. If a friend is "invisible", check you're on the same server.

Mainland SAFE

The central hub where you spawn. Key landmarks:

Whisperwood SAFE

Peaceful woods south of the Mainland. Trees, rocks, scattered fishing ponds — and the only realm where you can place your shack (one per player, 500 wood + 200 stone, no storage inside). Use /pickup to move it.

The Pond SAFE

A calm 40×40 realm built around fishing. The Roast Pit here is the only place that grants cooking XP — Mainland firepits don't count. Reached from the Mainland east portal; its north edge connects to Wilderness East.

Wilderness PVP

North of the Mainland. Tougher mobs, mount drops, and PvP everywhere except the southern safe camp — a fenced area that disables PvP and stops mobs from chasing you. Use it to reset between pushes.

Exits: south portal strip → Mainland, north → Wilderness North, east → Wilderness East.

Wilderness North PVP — NO SAFE CAMP

Smaller northern area with PvP enabled across the entire map. Mob density is lower, but there's nowhere to hide. At the far north is a level-gated cave requiring high combat skill.

Wilderness East PVP

A full-size wild area east of the main Wilderness, also reachable from the north edge of The Pond. Danger level similar to the main Wilderness.

Arena PVP

Dedicated PvP scene entered from the Mainland arena plaza arrows. Moving floor rollers push you around — learn the flow before chasing kills. Event and wager rules can change by patch, so watch official announcements.

Death & tombstones

In the three Wilderness zones, dying can drop some of your items into a tombstone where you fell:

Golden rule: bank valuables on the Mainland before every wild run, and travel light until you know an area. In Mainland, Whisperwood, and The Pond you don't lose inventory on death.
